spread over 72 hours of clock time. You're going to completely
revise your marketing profile -- in class. It's a Scenius thing.
You'll work hard and play hard. You probably won't sleep much.
But you'll learn from the best. Space is limited. Enroll now.

When: April 28th to May 1st, 2009
Where: Radisson Phoenix Airport Hotel North
427 North 44th St, Phoenix, AZ 85008

Can't be with us? You can still reap the benefits of
BloodhoundBlog Unchained by purchasing the DVD set from
our May 2008 Unchained conference in Phoenix.
The DVD set, $199

How’s this for a smokin’ deal? Start with BloodhoundBlog Unchained, our Social Media Marketing conference taught by BloodhoundBlog’s best. Now give it a Guerrilla-only special price of $149 for a $350 value. You’ll learn. You’ll grow. And you’ll save — if you act now.

After a hard-won fight to get the venue we wanted — The Heard Museum Event Center in Downtown Phoenix (about which much more later) — we’re finally ready to start selling tickets to BloodhoundBlog Unchained (about which much more here).

For the next three months, this weblog will be the fiery-hot forge of Unchained information. But — for now — the most important business is getting down to business.

The big, ugly question: What’s it all gonna cost?

The main two-day conference, May 19th and 20th, will run $200.

But we’re also doing a one-day pre-conference of tutorial break-outs and sponsored intensives on May 18th for $50.

And because the curriculum we’re covering is so in-depth, we’re offering a full set of DVDs of the main conference for $100.

All-told, you’re looking at $350 for the whole package.

But we said from the very beginning that we wanted to keep costs down. Yes, we’re going to a first-class conference venue. Yes, we’re dealing with the food, the snacks and the Wi-Fi hook-up. You’ll even get a work-book — along with a year’s worth of marketing work to be done. But BloodhoundBlog has always been about the Guerrillas, the grunts on the ground. If you’re willing to act fast, we’re willing to cut you a great deal.

Like this: Click on that “Pay Now” button up on the top right corner of the page and you’ll get the Guerrilla rate — $149 for everything: All three days of the conference plus the DVDs when they’re ready to ship.

Hey, nothing’s for nothing, right? The truth is, we don’t have that many seats to sell. We could probably hold out for the higher price and still sell out. But we want to make sure that the real Guerrillas, the people who have been paying attention all along, reap the benefit of having such eager minds. You’ve already made a big commitment to us. This is our way of paying it back to you.

But: Don’t dawdle. As soon as half the seats are gone, the price will go up.

Click here for information about hotels, the venue, etc. But go buy your tickets right now, before you forget — and before this Guerrilla-only special offer goes away.

Not in publishable form. We’ll be talking about content here in the coming weeks.

Hey SF crew, I was serious about that road trip BTW :)

I’m game Andy… FYI, no rooms available at the Wyngate. 2nd preference in walking distance anyone?

  6. Brian Brady February 14th, 2008 7:54 pm

I often stay at Phoenix Place Hotel (nee Sunshine Suites). It’s older. If you see bad reviews, they’re outdated. It’s reasonable. It’s a mile from the conference.

Best thing about the place? Bitchin’ pools (literally a tropical lagoon) and a bar that freezes the liquor in tasty slush

    These aren’t bad for distance:

    Hilton Suites Phoenix‎
10 East Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ

    Quality Inn & Suites Downtown‎
202 East McDowell Road, Phoenix, AZ
    (602) 528-9100‎ -  - 0.5 mi S

    Best Western-Phoenix Central‎
1100 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ
    (602) 252-2100‎ -  - 0.9 mi S

    Hampton Inn Phoenix-Midtown-Downtown Area‎
160 West Catalina Drive, Phoenix, AZ
    (602) 200-0990‎ -  - 0.7 mi N

    Palm Ln Executive Suites‎
389 E Palm Ln, Phoenix, AZ
    (602) 248-8466‎ - 0.5 mi SE

The Hilton and the Hampton Inn have relatively convenient retail and restaurants.

    Thanks guys,

At second glance it looks like the recommended here are available.

If someone cannot attend will the DVDs be available for purchase?

  12. CJ in NELA February 15th, 2008 4:23 pm

OK. Done. I’m figuring you’ll recognize my PayPal business name and know it’s me … since I didn’t see a fill in form. :-)

If anyone wants to climb Squaw Peak or Camelback Mountain, I could show you the way. I need the exercise. Maybe Hole In The Rock at Papago Park would be a far less strenuous (and quicker) adventure. Gotta be in class on time.

Perhaps Russell Shaw would lead a tour of Phoenix strip joints… on the other hand, maybe the Desert Botanical Garden would be a better choice.

    > h/t Marston Myers for digging deeper.

Indeed. I should have put the link here, as well. The Wingate is now the Fairfiled Inn and Suites. They have rooms, per Marston Myers. This is the hotel closest to the heard.

    > Would the DVD package include the workbook?

Yes. Probably also the workbook unbundled, both while supplies last. We can do all this with true ISBNs by Amazon now. It’s a very cool world.

I wish I could go to this, but I’m in another course and it runs into early June. I’d definitely be interested in knowing when DVDs are available and also is there a chance that you’ll do this again anytime soon?

  32. Alice, a consumer April 10th, 2008 9:21 pm

    Hi Greg,

Do you have to be a real estate professional to go to BloodhoundBlog Unchained? I would love to be the resident consumer at this shindig. I could be on panels and have all the realtors hang on my every word. I could even say outrageous things such as “finding a real estate agent on the internet is like falling down a rabbit hole”.

If a dead actor can go(Andy Kaufman–see http://www.truthorfiction.com/rumors/k/kaufman.htm), I should be allowed to go (and I love the Heard Museum). By the way, I found my dream home in Tucson and will close in a couple of weeks.

    Your friend,

    Alice

  33. Alice, a consumer April 10th, 2008 9:27 pm

Then again, maybe I should just be a mysterious consumer presence that pops up on the real estate blog-o-mart every now and then. Yes, Realtors, there are consumers out here.

    Alice

P.S. Good luck with your conference

  34. Sue April 11th, 2008 11:00 pm

Will the DVDs be enough if you haven’t attended the course? Will you ever come to the East Coast??

  35. Robin May 25th, 2008 12:17 pm

I love the comments made by Alice above…“finding a real estate agent on the internet is like falling down a rabbit hole”.

I don’t think Greg could have said it better himself!

Thanks for making this great product available! I think it will really help a lot of real estate agents all over the nation.
